Astrology Forecast for December 2010
12/02/2010
2010 is a HUGE year astrologically, bringing changes to the world, to the country and to individuals. The world will continue to experience unexpected changes and dramas.
This month will be especially intense and pressured so we need to be sure and take care of ourselves and remember that we need to do what we can to deintensify-that is, to not make worse any problems. If someone else is emotional, we should not add fuel to the fire, but deliberately try to calm ourselves down.
During December 2010, big money interests will show their greed and religious fanatics and ideologues will feel intensely, not wanting to compromise.
2010 through 2011 is a time when Saturn returns to the same degree of the same sign it was in July 4, 1776, bringing the United States lessons it needs to learn, reaping what it has sown and encouraging it to be responsible for itself.
News of unexpected force through December 2, 2010
With Mercury and Mars squaring (are about 90 degrees from) Jupiter and Uranus we may hear news about unexpected force, energy or weapons. Many of us will be working too hard. We have lots of ideas, but may be too impulsive.
Great time for love and romance through December 4, 2010
Venus, Neptune, Mercury and Mars are in a wonderful configuration called a Grand Sextile during this period. Grand Sextiles provide great opportunities; we just need to help create them. Venus, the planet of love, and Neptune, the planet of romance, are in an easy and beneficial trine (about 120 degrees from each other), helping love, social life and romance. Mercury, the planet of communication and short trips, and Mars, the planet of sex and energy, are midway between them, sextiling (about 60 degrees from) both. Now is a great time to plan getaways and evenings for romance.
Lots of intense planetary energy all month
With lots of planetary energy all month in the sign of Capricorn, you can get lots of work done and you can also feel lots of pressure and stress to accomplish much. Capricorn is the sign of government, career, business and contribution to the outer world, and many will feel pressure in these areas.
Pluto, the planet of intense energy, volcanoes, earthquakes (with Uranus), big business, big money, crime, endings and new beginnings is joined by Mercury, the North Node of the Moon, the Moon and the Sun during this month, into the new year.
Mercury, ruling communication and thought processes, may make communication more intense. The key word to remember all month is to deintensify and not add fuel to the fire. Many will be more angry than usual and it does no good to step up the intensity.
When the Moon and the Sun join Pluto, they add more energy to the planetary configuration.
Unpredictable and unexpected events relating to floods, earthquakes, higher education and religion through January 21, 2011
Jupiter, the planet of expansion, higher education and religion, and Uranus, the planet of the unexpected, the unpredictable, earthquakes and technology, remain close to each other in the sky in the sign of Pisces, the sign that rules liquids, oil, the ocean, religion and floods. The news is full of unpredictable happenings. Individuals can guard against problems in their lives around water, machines and electricity. Mars squares (is about 90 degrees from) Jupiter and Uranus, adding even more force and energy to this configuration. Religious and political problems in the world continue.
Get Rid of Clutter while the Moon is in Scorpio from 8:43 a.m.December 2, 2010 through 11:59 a.m.December 4, 2010 and also from 2:49 p.m.December 29, 2010 through 7:20 p.m. CSTDecember 31, 2010
You have two opportunities to more easily get rid of clutter this month (as if you didn't have enough to do.) As a Feng Shui consultant, I am happy to tell you that the Moon in Scorpio is an excellent time to get rid of what you do not need in your homes, offices and lives.
I am excited to hear that many of my clients are using this information and have found it easier to get rid of clutter when the Moon is in Scorpio. If you don't love it, need it or use it, get rid of it. Don't waste your energy on things that don't help you live the life you want. Of course, this refers not only to physical objects, but also mental and emotional debris. Getting rid of what you don't need opens up space to receive what you want.
Mercury retrograde affects you December 10, 2010 through January 17, 2011
From time to time, each of the planets appears to go in backward motion across the signs of the zodiac, depending upon the relative positions of the earth and the planet. That apparent backward motion is called retrograde motion.
When Mercury is retrograde, it is a good time to renew, revise, refurbish, rethink, redo and get rid of anything that no longer serves you.
As a Feng Shui consultant, I am always happy when the planets are helping us get rid of clutter.
Whenever Mercury is retrograde, communications, contracts, machines and travel plans may go awry. For ordinary life, including communications, contracts and travel, I pay little or no attention to when Mercury is retrograde. I do, however, pay close attention to when Mercury is retrograde for important communicating, most contract signing and passport vacation traveling. I will continue to go about my daily life and do what needs to be done, but I will not send any manuscripts to new publishers under a Mercury retrograde period.
Under Mercury retrograde, take extra care while communicating with others. Make sure that everyone understands what the plans and expectations are. Signing important contracts to buy expensive items, applying for or starting a new job, or sending a manuscript to a new publisher may come to naught, have to be redone, or be short-lived. If you travel when Mercury is retrograde, make allowances for changes in schedules and allow extra time to arrive.
Mercury also rules telephones, computers, printers, machines and cars, so do everything you can to have them in good running order before Mercury goes retrograde.
Some people feel the effects of Mercury retrograde up to a week before Mercury actually goes retrograde. Many astrologers, including me, wait until Mercury is in the same degree of the zodiac, called the shadow point, as it was before it apparently went in backward motion, until they think the effects of Mercury retrograde are gone.
Retrograde-December 10, 2010 at 6:04 am CST
Direct-December 30, 2010 at 1:20 am
Out of Shadow-January 17, 2011 at 11:45 pm CST
Expect the unexpected in communication, travel and machines from December 16, 2010 through December 26, 2010
Mars and Saturn in a challenging square (about 90 degrees from each other) could mean falls and sprains, so this is not a good time to be skiing or walking on ice. If you already had your tickets bought to go skiing, go ahead and go but don't go down slopes you cannot handle. Many people will be working hard without having much recognition for it. Do as much as you can before December 21 to ease up your work load.
Great for love, money, buying, social life and travel from December 28, 2010 through January 11, 2011
Take advantage of good planetary aspects for the above listed activities while Venus trines (is about 120 degrees from) Jupiter and Uranus. You'll be pleased with being with people you care about and the items you purchase. Travel can provide excitement and fun.

Astrology Forecast for November 2010
12/02/2010
2010 is a HUGE year astrologically, bringing changes to the world, to the country and to individuals. The world will continue to experience unexpected changes and dramas. We recently heard of another volcano and another tsunami.
The United States was born on July 4, 1776, with its Sun, Venus, Jupiter and Mercury all in the sign of Cancer. The Cancer planets, especially Venus at two degree of Cancer, have been challenged by the Cardinal Cross and the Cardinal T-square that I have been talking about in previous monthly forecasts. If you missed those forecasts, or would like to see them again, they are on my blog at www.DianneLawson.com.
Pluto is in Capricorn, which is the position it was in during the 1776 American Revolution, bringing dramatic changes to government. Interestingly enough, Pluto was in Capricorn during the first tea party in Boston on December 16, 1773. People wanted changes in their government then and they want them now.
Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008 and will stay there until 2024, bringing major changes in structures, such as government, politics, business, banking and geology.
In addition, 2010 through 2011 is a time when Saturn returns to the same degree of the same sign it was in July 4, 1776, bringing the United States lessons it needs to learn, reaping what it has sown and encouraging it to be responsible for itself.
Rethink how you handle love, social life and relationships through November 18
Venus, the planet of love, social life and money, is in retrograde motion (apparent backward motion as seen from the earth, based upon our relative positions and speeds). Retrograde planets bring us opportunities to revisit, rethink and redo how we are handling areas of our lives that the planets represent. Some of us will be in contact again with important people from our pasts. If any of these areas mentioned above are not what we want them to be, now is the time to reevaluate how we can make them better.
Concentrate on being practical and dependable through November 30
With only one planet, Pluto in an earth sign, we may need to work extra hard to be practical and dependable. (Yes, I know that Pluto was recently downgraded to the position of dwarf planet, but as someone told me, a dwarf bunny is still a bunny and a dwarf planet is still a planet). We may tend to waste too much time thinking things over and over again or make decisions based only on emotions.
Great time for love and romance through December 4, 2010
Venus, the planet of love, and Neptune, the planet of romance, among other matters, are in an easy and beneficial trine (about 120 degrees from each other), helping love, social life and romance. Now is a great time to plan getaways and evenings for romance. Please read the paragraph below and make sure the one you are with is worthy of you.
Don't believe all that you hear from November 2, 2010 through November 9, 2010
Mercury is the planet of communication and news, and Neptune is the planet of confusion, obfuscation and deception. Yes, I know that I said Neptune was the planet of romance, also. Maybe that is why people are often deceived from self, as well as others, when it comes to romance. Take what you hear with a grain of salt and be careful making decisions. You may not have all the facts. Since Mercury also rules how we think, our decision-making faculties may not be in top form.
Get Rid of Clutter while the Moon is in Scorpio from 1:15 a.m. CDTNovember 5, 2010 through 2:27a.m. CST November 7, 2010
As a Feng Shui consultant, I am happy to tell you that the Moon in Scorpio is an excellent time to get rid of clutter in your homes, offices and lives. This month the Sun, Mercury and Venus are also in Scorpio, adding even more planetary energy to transforming your life.
I am excited to hear that some of my clients are using this information and have found it easier to get rid of clutter when the Moon is in Scorpio. If you don't love it, need it or use it, get rid of it. Don't waste your energy on things that don't help you live the life you want. Of course, this refers not only to physical objects, but also mental and emotional debris. Getting rid of what you don't need opens up space to receive what you want.
News of unexpected force November 22, 2010 through December 2, 2010
With Mercury and Mars squaring (are about 90 degrees from) Jupiter and Uranus we may hear news about unexpected force, energy or weapons. Many of us will be working too hard. We have lots of ideas, but may be too impulsive.
My goal is to help people understand themselves and others better, solve their problems, improve their lives and prepare for their futures through astrological and Feng Shui counseling. Astrology forecast for October 2010
10/03/2010
2010 is a time of changes for persons, countries and the earth itself. It is easier to go with the planetary flow instead of against it. The following is to help you go with the flow.
All of October is a time to assess how you are dealing with relationships
Many planets are in Libra and in Scorpio this month, bringing close relationships and how we share ourselves, our possessions and money with others to the forefront. This is a time to reflect on how our relationships are and whether or not they are meeting our needs and the needs of others. Good relationships can be strengthened, while bad relationships might be let go. Saturn remains in the sign of Libra. Saturn is the teacher and will provide us lessons about our relationships that we need to master now.
The planet of love, Venus, goes retrograde from October 8 through November 18, bringing us opportunities to reassess our relationships. It might also bring important people from our pasts back into our lives.
Emphasis on love, money and possessions through October 12
Venus, the planet of love, money and possessions, is very close to Mars, the planet of drive, energy and initiative, bringing love, relationships, money and possessions to the forefront. Many people will be in the throes of new romantic relationships. Those who are not in romantic relationships may be aware of having a need for closeness. This is a great time astrologically to actively search for a new relationship and to work on existing relationships. The best way to get what you want in a relationship is to give it.
It is a good time to work on money issues. You have the drive and energy to plan how to make money and how to spend it.
Unpredictable and unexpected events relating to floods, higher education and religion through January 21, 2011
Jupiter, the planet of expansion, higher education, and religion, and Uranus, the planet of the unexpected, the unpredictable, earthquakes and technology, remain close to each other in the sky in the sign of Pisces, the sign that rules liquids, oil, the ocean, religion and floods. The news is full of unpredictable happenings. Individuals can guard against problems in their lives around water, machines and electricity.
Concentrate on being practical and dependable from October 3 through November 30
With only one planet, Pluto (yes, I know that Pluto was recently downgraded to the position of dwarf planet, but as someone told me, a dwarf bunny is still a bunny) in an earth sign, we may need to work extra hard to be practical, hard working and dependable. We may tend to waste too much time thinking things over and over or make decisions based only on emotions.
Get Rid of Clutter from 2:52 p.m. CDT October 8, 2010 through 5:08 p.m. CDT October 10, 2010, while the Moon is in Scorpio
As a Feng Shui consultant, I am happy to tell you that the Moon in Scorpio is an excellent time to get rid of clutter in your homes, offices and lives. I am excited to hear that some of my clients are using this information and have found it easier to get rid of clutter during the time the Moon is in Scorpio. If you don't love it, need it or use it, get rid of it. Don't waste your energy on things that don't help you live the life you want. Of course, this refers not only to physical objects, but also mental and emotional debris. Getting rid of what you don't need opens up space to receive what you want.

I hope this astrology forecast is beneficial to you. Let me know if you have any questions or if I can be of any other help. Dianne
P.S. I want to thank all of the many people who responded to my e-mail of helping my son move close to Topeka. I think I thanked each of you who responded personally. I was astonished at the tremendous response that e-mail received and the large number of people who called or e-mailed me with suggestions of help. Because of that e-mail and the response, my son, his wife, their adorable Shorty Bulls (cute, cute, cute mini bulldogs) and gorilla-like, muscular, award-winning Old English Bulldogges found a place and will be moving near Holton in October. Hooray!!!

Jupiter Making Closest Approach to Earth in 47 Years
09/20/2010
AP
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (Sept. 19) - Better catch Jupiter this week in the night sky. It won't be that big or bright again until 2022.
Jupiter will pass 368 million miles from Earth late Monday, its closest approach since 1963. You can see it low in the east around dusk. Around midnight, it will be directly overhead. That's because Earth will be passing between Jupiter and the sun, into the wee hours of Tuesday.
NASA / AP
The planet Jupiter will pass 368 million miles from Earth late Monday, its closest approach since 1963.
The solar system's largest planet already appears as an incredibly bright star - three times brighter than the brightest star in the sky, Sirius. The only thing brighter in the night sky right now is our moon. Binoculars and telescopes will dramatically improve the view as Jupiter, along with its many moons, rises in the east as the sun sets.
"Jupiter is so bright right now, you don't need a sky map to find it," said Tony Phillips, a California astronomer under contract with NASA. "You just walk outside and see it. It's so eye-catching, there it is."
Phillips has never seen Jupiter so bright. "To an experienced observer, the difference is notable," he said Friday.
Coincidentally, Uranus also will make a close approach the same night. It will appear close to Jupiter but harder to see with the naked eye. Through a telescope, it will shine like an emerald-colored disk less than one degree from Jupiter.
Jupiter comes relatively close to Earth about every 12 years. In 1999, it passed slightly farther away.
What's rare this time is Uranus making a close appearance at the same time, Phillips said. He called it "a once-in-a-lifetime event." While seen right next to Jupiter through a telescope, Uranus actually will be 1.7 billion miles from Earth on Monday night.
Phillips urges stargazers not to give up if it's cloudy Monday night. Jupiter will remain relatively close for many weeks, he noted, providing good viewing opportunities for some time. And for those who are early risers instead of night owls, Jupiter will be visible setting in the west just before sunrise.
Astrology forecast for September 2010
09/01/2010
The Cardinal T-square continues its effect until September 12, bringing changes to the earth, to countries and to us
Jupiter and Uranus square (are about 90 degrees from) Pluto and oppose (are about 180 degrees from) Saturn, the configuration forming a T-Square in Cardinal Signs (Aries, Libra and Capricorn) in the sky until September 12.
We have the opportunity to use this energy to take care of ourselves and to improve our family connections, close relationships and careers. This summer brings opportunities, tensions, challenges and lessons to be learned, especially for people who have planets in the early degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.
After this T-Square ends, there remain several other astrological configurations throughout this month and beyond, bringing changes and opportunities for taking care of ourselves, our partners, our families and our careers or contributions to the outside world. These areas of life are mutually incompatible, as it is hard to take care of more than one at the same time. We must try to find a balance and find time for all of these areas of our lives.
2010 is a huge year astrologically. The earth itself, countries and individuals are in a time of flux, changes and challenges. In such a time, there are many opportunities for us to create the kinds of lives we want. If anyone is bored this year, he or she must not be paying attention.
It can be a very romantic time while Venus and Mars trine (is about 120 degrees from) Neptune through September 11. Going to dances, concerts, the theater and romantic dinners with loved ones can have spectacular results.
Mercury Retrograde until September 12
Mercury Retrograde (Mercury in apparent backward motion through the signs of the zodiac as seen from the earth) times are great for reflecting, redoing, reorganizing, rethinking and reworking. For writers, it is wonderful for editing work.
Mercury Retrograde is notorious for problems with communication, travel and machines. It is not the time to send off manuscripts to new editors or to sign important contracts. If you sign contracts during this period, they may have to be redone or may not be lasting.
Mercury will not return to the same degree of the zodiac that it was in at the time it began its retrograde motion until September 27. Many astrologers think that this period has the same or similar effects as when Mercury is in retrograde motion.
For more information about Mercury Retrograde, please go to http://www.diannelawson.com/Mercury_Retrograde.html and see the blog at www.DianneLawson.com.
Dramatic change of mind and positive insights from September 4 through 20
Mercury trines (is about 120 degrees from) Pluto during this period, bringing dramatic changes of mind and positive insights. This is a great time to face our fears head on, look at ourselves honestly, work on forgiving ourselves and others, and healing our past hurts.
For writers, it is a good time to dig out old manuscripts that have been hidden away or to work on ideas that have been gnawing for a long time. Wait until after Mercury says it is okay (see Mercury Retrograde above) to send the works out to publishers.
Get Rid of Clutter from 4:21 a.m. CDT September 11, 2010 through 7:51 a.m. CDT September 13, 2010 while the Moon is in Scorpio
As a Feng Shui consultant, I am happy to tell you that the Moon in Scorpio is an excellent time to get rid of clutter in your homes, offices and lives. If you don’t love it, need it or use it, get rid of it. Don’t waste your energy on things that don’t help you live the life you want. Retrograde Mercury Coming Soon—
08/10/2010
Retrograde Mercury will be here August 20, 2010 and will have an effect on us until September 27, 2010. Many people feel the effects up to a week or so before Mercury turns retrograde.
Mercury Retrograde means that, from the vantage point of us on earth, Mercury appears to going backwards against the background of the signs of the zodiac. Of course, planets never go backward, but it sometimes looks that way because of our relative positions. It is kind of like when you quickly pass another car, the other car can look as if it is going backwards. This phenomenon is often really visible when you are passing a train or subway car.
Mercury Retrograde has a bad rap and lots of people dread its coming. Like everything else, it can be used for improving our lives.
The Good
Mercury Retrograde times are great for reflecting, redoing, reorganizing, rethinking and reworking. For writers, it is wonderful for editing work. For spiritual people, it is terrific for slowing down and retreating from the world and connecting with their Source.
Since this Mercury Retrograde period will take place in Virgo, concentrating on working out details and analyzing all aspects can dramatically improve your finished product.
The Bad
Mercury Retrograde is notorious for problems with communication, travel and machines. It is not the time to send off manuscripts to new editors or to sign important contracts. If you sign contracts during this period, they may have to be redone or may not be lasting.
My daughter and her husband signed a contract to buy a house on a Friday while Mercury was retrograde-gasp! On Sunday my son-in-love told me that the real estate office made a mistake on the contract and they would have to resign the contract on Monday. Early Monday morning a creek six blocks away overflowed its banks and dirty water totally surrounded and inundated the house. Because the contract was not valid, they did not get stuck with the house that was flooded, but they still had to go and find another house. They did find another house and signed a contract on that house when Mercury was not retrograde. They are still in that house.
The Ugly
The ugly side of this time period may show up if you don’t take advantage of improving your life by reorganizing, rethinking and redoing. It also could get ugly if you don’t work extra hard at communicating, if you don’t plan for delays when traveling and if you don’t make sure your vehicle and other machines are well maintained. Another way it could get ugly is if you don’t look at the big picture. A lot of the irritations of this time are pretty inconsequential in the long run.
For more information about Mercury Retrograde in 2010, please go to my website, www.DianneLawson.com <http://www.DianneLawson.com> and click on the button on the left side of my home page that says Mercury Retrograde. It gives all the times this year when Mercury is retrograde.
August 2010 astrology forecast
07/28/2010
August 2010 astrology forecast
Astrology helps you solve your problems, improve your life and prepare for your future
2010 through 2014 is a period of strong and challenging planetary aspects. It is better to have challenging aspects than no aspects at all because the challenging ones spur us to make necessary changes that can make our lives better. They give us energy to help us make our lives the way we want them to be.
There are also positive aspects regarding relationships, communications and new beginnings of which we should take advantage.
The big astrological events this summer are the Cardinal T-square and the Cardinal Grand Cross
As you know, this summer has been a summer of changes for many people. It is a time to make sure that we have our lives in balance and are creating time for ourselves as well as for others. We must also be balancing our need for our private life and nurturing our family members, as well as our public life, and contributing to the outer world. Contributing to the outer world is often through our careers, but can also be through volunteer work and other means.
Jupiter and Uranus are squaring (are about 90 degrees from) Pluto and are opposing (are about 180 degrees from) Saturn, the configuration forming a T-Square in Cardinal Signs (Aries, Libra and Capricorn) in the sky this month. Ancient astrology books were negative about squares and oppositions, saying that squares show tensions and obstacles to overcome and oppositions show difficulties and being pulled in two directions. Modern astrologers tend to focus on the changes likely to happen and the energy, drive and strength available for people to bring about changes or to use changes positively.
When you take into account some of the keywords for the planets and signs involved, you can see the plethora of possibilities for change. Jupiter enlarges and brings opportunities and rules religion and higher knowledge. Uranus brings sudden change, rebellion and unexpected happenings and rules earthquakes, tornadoes and new technology. Pluto brings transformation and rebirth and rules death, destruction, big business, criminals and things underground, such as magma, oil and mines. Saturn has a connection with restriction, hardships, delays, discipline and inevitable and slow changes.
Mars conjoins (is about 0 degrees from) Saturn from July 18 to August 15, adding more drive and energy to this configuration. Mars opposes (is about 180 degrees from) Uranus July 18 to August 8, indicating sudden and unexpected changes. The most dangerous time may be around July 25 through August 13 when Mars squares (is about 90 degrees from) Pluto, a stressful aspect for the two planets of strife and weapons. Venus joins Mars and Saturn from August 3 through 18, adding even more energy.
Other planets move in and out of this aspect pattern this year, often joining one of these planets or creating a Grand Cross, also known as a Grand Square—when four or more planets are forming a big square in the sky by squaring (are about 90 degrees from) and opposing (are about 180 degrees from) the others. Grand Crosses have a tremendous amount of energy. The Moon is in Gemini August 6 and 7, forming just such a Grand Cross.
We have the opportunity to use this energy this summer to start new projects, and improve our family connections, close relationships and career, as these planets are in Cardinal Signs--Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. This summer brings opportunities, tensions, challenges and lessons to be learned, especially for people who have planets in the early degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.
When we consciously live by guidelines and work on improving ourselves, our relationships, our careers and our lives, the extra energies provided by the planets give us opportunities to recreate better versions of ourselves and our lives.
Mundane astrologers watch when planets are close to 0 degrees of the Cardinal signs, as they are this summer, as many think that major world events happen around these times.
Big emphasis on love and relationships July 27 through October 14
Venus, the planet of love, will be very close in the sky to Mars, the planet of drive, energy and initiative, bringing love and relationships to the forefront. Many will be in the throes of new romantic relationships. Those who are not in a romantic relationship may be aware of having a need for closeness. This is a great time astrologically to actively search for a new relationship and to work on existing relationships. The best way to get what you want in a relationship is to give it. Just be sure that the person you have in mind is worthy of your energy.
It can be a very romantic time while Venus trines (is about 120 degrees from) Neptune August 28 through September 13. This time is also good for any artistic endeavors. You will be pleased with the results.
Good for writing, communicating, advertising, learning and short journeys August 1 and 2
Take advantage of these planetary energies and plan your schedule to include any of the above listed activities while Mercury, Pluto and the Moon are in a Grand Trine (each planet is about 120 degrees from the other, forming a triangle.) Grand Trines give opportunities and we should try to take advantage of them.
Big emphasis on new beginnings this summer
Uranus entered Aries on May 27, 2010 and Jupiter entered it June 6, 2010 . Uranus is connected to new technology and Jupiter expands whatever it touches. Expect new inventions, technologies and ways of doing things this summer, while these two planets are conjoined (close to 0 degrees from each other.) Thinking outside the box brings rewards. Use this planetary energy to expand your horizons with technology and go places you have never been--the more foreign, the better. Both of these planets were together at 0 degrees of Libra in July 1969, the date the first man walked on the Moon. How’s that for a perfect example of these two planets working well together?
Uranus is also the planet of rebellion, change and opposition to authority. Uranus was also conjoined with Jupiter in the 1960s and there are correlations between that period and now. Many people are not happy with the way our government is being run.
Uranus is back in Pisces August 13 until March 11, 2011 , indicating intolerance towards other peoples with different beliefs, especially religious. It is hard for people to see any viewpoint other than their own.
Opportunities to learn about how we deal with relationships after July 21, 2010
Saturn entered Libra on July 21, 2010 . Libra is the sign of relationships, marriage, partnerships and open enemies. Interesting that open enemies is in this group, isn’t it? While Saturn is in the sign of Libra for the next two and one half years, we have chances to see how well we have been handling these areas of our lives. If we are lonely or not happy in our relationships, we need to look at the past to see how well we have done relationships and vow to make improvements. All of us need to focus on how we balance giving to others versus how much we take care of ourselves. If we give too much to others, we deplete ourselves, thus having less to give to others.
Solar eclipse of July 11, 2010 in the sign Cancer continues emphasis on family matters
As another solar eclipse happened in the sign of Cancer last July 2009, family matters continue to have a focus on our lives for another year. Solar eclipses typically have an influence for about a year. The eclipse of July 11, 2010 is in the sign Cancer, the sign that rules family, home, real estate and dependency needs. These areas will be in a state of flux and will need more attention given to them. Take care of home repairs as soon as you can before they grow into larger problems. Many people will experience significant changes in their families. Devote more time to home and family to use this energy in a wise way.
Get Rid of Clutter from 7:26 p.m. CDT August 14, 2010 through 12:33 a.m. CDT August 17, 2010
Of course, this refers not only to physical objects, but also mental and emotional debris. Getting rid of what you don’t need opens up space to receive what you want.
Career highlighted until January 15, 2011
The first solar eclipse of 2010 occurred on January 15 at 25 degrees of Capricorn and will continue to have an effect for about a year after that date. This indicates that people will have to spend more time and energy on their connections with the outer world, which usually means career, status and reputation. Many people will experience changes in their careers. It is a great time to stop and think about what you really want in your connection to the outer world and career and then work toward making it happen.

A Frequently Asked Question
07/19/2010
One of the questions people most frequently ask me is, “I am a _____ (insert in the blank Aries, Taurus or any other sign of the zodiac), and am I compatible with _____ (insert in the blank Aries, Taurus or any other sign of the zodiac)?”
There is a simple answer and a complex answer to that question.
The simple answer is that people born under Sun Signs of the same Element have a natural affinity and ease in relating. The Elements and the Sun Signs belonging to those elements are as follows:
Fire Signs—Aries, Leo and Sagittarius
Earth Signs—Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn
Air Signs—Gemini, Libra and Aquarius
Water Signs—Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces
The Fire Signs are enthusiastic and have a zest for living, the Earth Signs are practical and realistic, the Air Signs are intellectual and communicative and the Water Signs are emotional, intuitive and psychic.
Having your Sun Sign in a sign that is compatible to someone else’s Sun Sign can add ease and stability to the relationship. Although it is a good thing to have compatible Sun Signs, it is not the only thing to look for in chart comparisons.
The complex answer is that real astrology is much, much, much more than just the Sun Signs. Real astrology takes into account the signs of the zodiac that the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are in. Many astrologers use asteroids, dwarf planets and more. Astrologers also use the area of the sky that points are in, and the angles between different points in the chart. And there is even more that real astrologers look at in people’s charts. It is very complex. Comparing one person’s chart to someone else’s chart takes all of these things into account. Relationships are complex. Astrology can help sort out the complexities. It can help people understand each other and what the other is looking for in relationships. It can help people understand what kind of person he or she really needs and what kind of person to be careful of. It also can tell where and when you are likely to meet your mate.
If you are interested in having a real astrological chart comparison between yourself and another person, please let me know. A chart comparison describes the relationship between you and another person and is helpful in understanding compatible areas as well as incompatible areas. I provide FREE chart comparisons with two or more birth charts.
